Percy Dexter Higgins was born on 4 October 1921 in Stellarton, Pictou, Nova Scotia, CanadaO.1 He and Elizabeth Mary Minihane were married on 6 November 1943 in West Grinstead, Sussex, EnglandO. He died on 4 April 1945, at age 23, in Zutphen, Gelderland, NetherlandsO, Dexter lost his life during the Battle of Warnsveld which began late in the day on April 4th, 1945.
He was buried in Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Holten, Overijssel, Netherlands.1
