Welcome to our NEW family website.

Recently I've received the following notification from my website provider.

"We would like to inform you that we are currently seeing an increasing number of unusual requests to your fieldfamilytree.ca domain that go beyond a normal website visit. In the last week alone, we have already detected 12 of these potential attack attempts."

While I realize this is a marketing attempt to get me to pay for increased security.  I have decided to no longer have information for living individuals on the website.  Also, due to some technical limitations with our previous website software and issues with updating the family records I have decided to try something a little different.

• This new family site is now narrative in style instead of just listing events.
• Witnesses to BMD (birth, marriage & death) events are now included.
• Supports up to 500,000 individuals (Our current total is listed in the footer below).
• The are no longer any user accounts required as the site only contains information for non-living individuals.
• Updates can be sent to me using the "Compiler" link located in the footer below.

This site is currently under construction and new items such as galleries, charts and lists added.  The cleanup and adding of individuals, sources, places and images continues (almost daily).

Charts for the main 8 grandparents have been added for myself and my wife's lines which can be a good place to start.  The ancestors and descendants for each of these lines adds many surnames.  A list of all connected surnames can be found here.
