Percy Dexter Higgins was awarded the 1939-45 Star, France-Germany Star, Defence Medal, Volunteer Service Medal with bar and 1939-45 War Medal.1 He served in the military with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders, R.C.I.C. and was killed in action during World War Two.1
